Well, the time has come to allow a reader to know the people involved in the exercise for the past four days.
The town located in Texas, south, and east of Dallas. The area is very quiet for the most point, with values matching that which was present at the founding of The United States. Yet, as in any other sleepy town in the World, there is present those things that no one wants to talk about, however, exists and thrives.
The Father: He was a well-connected citizen and held to the ideology of separation. Of course, he was a member of the Ku Klux Klan, with views of the World that sustains those values.
Red: Grew up in this little town, as the BAD KID. She seemed to have a hatred toward others, that would spark actions toward her. Many occasions were concluded with someone throwing a rock at her and hitting the mark. She seemed to share her father’s ideology, and could not see that Blacks were humans too.
The young girl: This young lady, now, is a Mother, Wife, Sister, Co-worker, and Beautiful Friend. This woman has way more to offer the World than what her tiny circle will ever share. She holds today the values that her Father, raised her understanding that all things are driven by LOVE. One conversation with her father was about how she felt about being called a (“N”!) The father asked her if she thought that she was? She replied that she was not. He advised her that if words were not true, there was not a need to acknowledge the claim and respond with Love.
A few may understand in knowing that her father trained horses. His love was to work with a Wild horse, break it and transform the animal into a companion.
The young girl and Red remained in contact for a few years after the “handshake”. There is not much more information to share at this time. One fact is that I will always be open to the views of others and in my Heart, look for Love.
